Within ten years, the quality of life in Russia will improve as a result of the development of science and technology, especially in the field of health care, Russian President Vladimir Putin believes, our media partner Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.
In a meeting with young entrepreneurs, he described improving the demographic situation as the first task. “We should have more people, and they should be healthy,” said the head of state.
Here, in his opinion, there is a whole range of measures that must be taken to develop medicine, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, as well as quantum technologies and big data processing, where “as in the field of ballet, we have bypassed all.” “There are things we can really be proud of today. But we have to strive to ensure that we acquire new competencies, establish new engineering centers, and be pioneers in these areas. Do we have a chance? Of course there is,” Putin said.
Will we live better in ten years? asked one of the participants in the meeting.
The head of state replied: “Yes, and in the end this should lead to an improvement in the quality of life, just right.”
