The Russian Science Foundation has announced the start of accepting applications for the competition to support research based on the existing world-class scientific infrastructure of the Presidential Research Projects Programme, as well as the competition to extend the deadlines for the implementation of similar projects supported by the Foundation in 2019.
As part of the Infrastructure Project Competition, grants are allocated to basic and exploration research in 2023-2026, with the possibility of a subsequent project extension for up to three years. Projects should be aimed at solving specific problems within the framework of one of the priorities established in the strategy of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation. When implementing projects submitted for the competition, large objects of the existing scientific infrastructure on the territory of the state should be used. The amount of one grant will be from 4 to 7 million rubles per year.
Applications are accepted until October 15, 2022. The results of the competition will be summarized in March 2023. According to the financial plan of the Fund, up to 130 projects can be supported within the framework of the competition.
In the competition for the extension of infrastructure projects supported by the Russian Science Foundation in 2019, it is possible to participate in projects of research teams that are a continuation of already supported projects. Grants are devoted to basic and exploratory scientific research in 2023-2025. The amount of one grant will be from 4 to 7 million rubles per year.
Applications are accepted until December 20, 2022. The results of the competition will be summarized in March 2023. According to the financial plan of the Fund, up to 50 projects can be supported within the framework of the competition.
