Quick pizza in a pan from Evgeny Klopotenko

It will take a long time to prepare such a pizza, and the result will be satisfactory.

Pizza is a favorite dish for adults and kids alike, and is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or parties for gatherings with friends. Many are sure that its preparation takes a lot of time, but Ukrainian chef Yevin Klopotenko offers a quick recipe for pizza in a frying pan, which tastes like the original. As the master notes, Italians who know a lot about pizza are unlikely to agree with this, but in the end it turns out quickly, easily and as tasty as possible.

For its preparation, only four ingredients are needed: flour, olive oil, water, baking powder, and as a filling – everything that the soul lies in.

Quick pizza in a frying pan

Ingredients:

For the test:

  • flour – 220 g;
  • baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon;
  • olive oil (+ extra for frying) – 3 tablespoons;
  • Water – 6-8 tbsp. to.

For the sauce:

  • pilati tomatoes (or tomatoes in their own juice) – 200 g;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Oregano – 1 tbsp. to.

to fill in:

  • mushrooms – 100 g;
  • olives – 50 g;
  • Onion – 1/2 head
  • tomato – 2 pcs.;
  • oregano – 1 teaspoon;
  • Hard Mozzarella Cheese – 150 gm

Cooking method:

First you need to make the dough. To do this, mix the flour, baking powder, water and butter well. This can be done either by hand or with a food processor fitted with the included hook. After the dough has acquired a homogeneous consistency, put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to rest.

While the dough is in the refrigerator, prepare the sauce. Crush the tomatoes, garlic and oregano and mix until smooth. You can do this with an immersion blender or food processor.

Next – the filling line. Wipe the mushrooms well with a tissue and chop them finely. It is better not to wash the mushrooms so that excess moisture does not accumulate. Cut the olives into rings, chop the onions into thin half rings, chop the tomatoes into small pieces, grate the mozzarella cheese.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out on a board sprinkled with flour. The result should be a thin circle equal to the diameter of the pan where the pizza is being cooked. If the pan is small, then two pizzas can be made from the dough.

Heat a frying pan with a little olive oil, put the rolled dough on it and fry on one side for five minutes over a medium heat. Then remove the pan from the heat and cover the pizza base with tomato sauce.

Put all the filling ingredients on the sauce and sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese. Place the skillet over medium heat, cover with a lid, and cook for another 4-5 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Care must be taken to ensure that the lower edge of the dough does not burn and, if necessary, reduce the heat to a minimum.
