GAZ Group, together with the State Corporation Modern Transport Technologies (general distributor of the GAZ brand), presented new models of medical vehicles as part of the Health of the Nation – the basis of the Russian Prosperity Forum that opened in Moscow. The novelty presented at the forum was a mobile medical complex based on GAZelle NN. The complex was created on the basis of a truck with a gross weight of 4.6 tons with a very long wheelbase. It is intended for medical examinations, preventive, diagnostic and curative measures in enterprises or in remote settlements, the press service of the automobile industry reports.
The large size of the body made it possible to place a full-fledged medical unit inside the car, divided into reception and treatment rooms, equipped according to the standards for equipping a mobile team. Doctors’ workplaces are equipped with all necessary furniture, laundry and refrigerator for storing medicines, materials, tools and medical devices. The complex is equipped with autonomous life support systems, video surveillance system, security and fire alarm, Internet access. The inner lining is made of aluminum-coated composite panels with additional insulation, which has a high resistance to corrosion, reaction to acidic environments and ultraviolet rays, and is resistant to detergents and antiseptics.
Another model presented at the forum – Class C ambulance (AMC) with a communications complex based on GAZelle NN – demonstrates the possibilities of using modern multimedia communication systems to effectively provide assistance to patients on the road. The car is equipped with a set of cameras, monitors and high-speed communication systems, which allows the organization of a remote consultation of the medical team by specialized specialists directly during the examination of the patient or medical manipulation.
As Maxim Golovnov, Director of Sales for Corporate Customers of the Modern Transport Technologies Group of Companies notes, the telemedicine system, equipped with the medical vehicle presented on the forum, allows, in case of delays in patient delivery, to communicate with the hospital, get recommendations and begin providing first aid to the victims Without losing the ‘golden hour’, during which the chances of saving a patient in a critical condition are greater. This is an effective solution for working with patients who live in villages far from regional centres.
