The largest investments in Russia fall on telemedicine and services for patients, and a significant part of it falls on artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, there is a demand for health insurance solutions.

In 2019, within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”, the federal project “Creation of a unified digital contour in the field of health care on the basis of the Unified State Information System in the field of health care (eGISZ)” was approved. On January 28, 2021, Federal Law of July 31, 2020 No. 258-FZ “On Experimental Legal Systems (EPR) in the field of digital innovations in the Russian Federation”, developed by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, was put into force.
